		<description>Hi, this is a fair point and we all have to do our bit including the retailers, but the fact is that stolen stuff is ending up on the auction and classified sites and being bought by consumers. What we are saying is that the consumer can now help themselves by running a CheckMEND check before purchase, helping to drive down the ease with which thieves can dispose of their ill-gotten gains. You may also be interested to know that the materials being sold are also being acquired as a result of all sorts of crime including burglary and muggings so by buying the stuff people are perpetuating these crimes.</description>

I had NO idea efencing was such a widespread problem. Why is it so easy to steal items from these retailers?

How about installing anti-theft problem in all the retail stores? It&#039;s impossible for eBay to figure out whether listed products are stolen or not. The retailer should take care of their inventory; not act carelessly then blame eBay and the government to bail them out.</description>
